Controls Engineer

General Description
Looking for an experienced PLC programmer (3+ years preferred). The controls engineer is responsible for projects from design all the way through commissioning. This includes developing electrical schematics as well as PLC and HMI programs for projects. Travel would be required, typically about 25-40%. This is for a full time position. Hours from 8:00am-5:00pm (includes hour lunch), Monday-Friday. Weekend work may be required (compensated at 1.5x hourly rate).
Job Responsibilities
Design electrical schematics using Cad software. Work with customers to specify which hardware is to be used. Develop PLC and HMI programs for a project (Allen-Bradley is primary platform but could be Siemens or Mitsubishi as well). Perform wiring checks on completed control panels. Travel to customer locations to commission projects along with electrical contractors.

Electrical Technician

General Description
Traveling on-site to customer facilities to perform electrical installation of supplied control systems. The technician preforms any combination of tasks to accomplish a turn-key installation for the customer. This includes mounting components, wiring according to electrical schematics and routing industrial conduits. Travel would be required, typically about 50%. This is for a full time position. Hours from 8:00am-5:00pm (includes hour lunch), Monday-Friday. Weekend work may be required (compensated at 1.5x hourly rate). Pay would start from $20.00+ per hour, depending on experience.
Job Responsibilities
Reading electrical drawings and wiring devices accordingly. Connect wires between individual components and devices in a neat and timely fashion following electrical schematics. Installing supplied electrical control systems.
